IRYNE YOGAVATAR
Co-Founder of Yogavatar® New Age Yoga and Ispirit Asia
Born on March 16, 1975, iRyne Yogavatar embodies a rare integration of compassion, disciplined study, and refined insight. As the Founder of Yogavatar® New Age Yoga School and Co-Founder of iSpirit Asia, her work reflects a commitment to preserving classical yoga wisdom while presenting it with clarity and relevance for modern life.
Her early professional foundation was built in the corporate world, where she worked in the Human Resources field and advanced into higher management roles. Through years of leadership, organizational strategy, and people development, she cultivated a deep understanding of human behavior, communication, and emotional dynamics. This background shaped her attentive, observant, and compassionate approach to teaching — allowing her to connect with individuals beyond surface performance.
Her formal yoga journey began in 2004 with the practical intention of strengthening her body and preventing injury. Over time, physical practice unfolded into philosophical inquiry. Recognizing that yoga was a complete system of transformation, she committed to structured training and immersive study. She completed her 200-hour and 300-hour advanced yoga education in India and Thailand, grounding herself in classical philosophy, breath science, meditation, and alignment methodology. These formative experiences established the disciplined framework that defines her teaching today.
An E-RYT500 and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, iRyne has been leading Yoga Teacher Training programs since 2015. She approaches teacher training as a process of inner refinement rather than external certification. Her mentorship integrates structural precision with mindful awareness, guiding students to embody clarity, responsibility, and conscious leadership in both professional and personal life.
Her expertise extends into therapeutic application as a certified Yoga Therapist trained by MAYI Yoga Academy. She continues her in-depth study of the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali with Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM), approaching the text not only as philosophy, but as a practical science of mental clarity and disciplined awareness. She also completed Vedic Chant Teacher Training with Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation (KHYF), and studies Sanskrit to preserve the integrity and precision of sacred sound transmission.
Complementing her yogic foundation, iRyne is a certified BOSU and TRX trainer. Her understanding of functional strength and structural alignment allows her to integrate classical yogic principles with modern movement science, ensuring safety, progression, and intelligent sequencing in her programs.
At the heart of her work lies integration — compassion guided by discipline, knowledge refined through practice, and tradition transmitted with thoughtful clarity. Through Yogavatar®, she inspires individuals to move beyond physical form toward conscious embodiment, cultivating resilience, steadiness, and meaningful growth in everyday life.
